About "Association - My Family"

The Association currently includes representatives from 20 regions of Ukraine, namely 3201 foster families who are bringing up from 1 to 4 children and also 240 family-type children's houses, raising from 5 to 10 adopted children. 

Number of wanting to join the Association is constantly growing.

The main purpose of the all-Ukrainian non-profit organization is to protect the interests of its members: parents-caregivers of family type children's houses, foster families, carers and adopters, and promote the formation of effective social policy of the Ukrainian state concerning the above-mentioned persons.

To achieve its goals the Association "My Family" has set the following main objectives:

• to support its members;
• to promote the creation of foster families, family-type children's houses and adoption, as well as solution of the issues related to the process of their creation and further activity;
• promoting the foster care among the general Ukrainian society;
• to facilitate the creation of effective mechanisms of social protection of orphans and children deprived of parental care, parents-caregivers of family-type children's houses, foster parents, guardians and adoptive parents;
• drawing public attention to the problems of raising children in a family, as well as to the fate of educatees of boarding schools, orphanages and children's homes;
• cooperation with charitable organizations of Ukraine and other countries.
